Abstract

Like the white interior of a shipping container stationed in an unspecified place, a cold and aseptic space that carries forced inside it the Exhausted and its inseparable shadow produced by a cold artificial light, which suddenly splits into two, becoming a body and accompanying and lifting the Exhausted from its continuous, countless endless falls. Words, gestures, choreography follow one another in a score of Beckettian notes, refracted and reflected until they dissolve into the water.

Press review

With very few objects, in an empty stage, “space becomes time”: the seventy-minute performance is all to watch and also to hear... Very young audience and great success.
Franco Quadri, La Repubblica (2nd june 2008)

The final image is striking, when the exhausted man is mirrored and his body is reflected first on a light background, then on a dark background, becoming light itself. There is in this performance an undeniable order, there is a stylistic continuity, a coherence.
Franco Cordelli, Corriere della Sera (8th june 2008)
